Long before SynrGN had a name, I was exploring the questions behind it: What makes an idea worth pursuing? How do purpose, people, and resources come together to create value? How can that value grow without losing the meaning that inspired it?
When I founded the Lake House Initiative in 2016, the original concept brought sustainability, economic opportunity, and meaningful human experiences together through destination resorts. My subsequent writing on values and mission established purpose, passion, integrity, honor, and synergy as foundations for that work.
As my work expanded across business development, product innovation, and community development, the relationships among vision, identity, resources, and execution became increasingly important. A compelling idea needed people, systems, and strategy working toward a shared purpose.
My earlier essay, “Synergy?”, began expressing these relationships through a geometric model organized around Why, What, How, and Integrity. SynrGN carries that exploration forward.
I wanted a way to connect the many tools used to develop ideas. Business model canvases, value propositions, brand strategies, and execution plans each contribute something valuable. Their usefulness grows when people understand how they relate to one another and to the idea’s origin.
SynrGN provides that shared map.
It begins by exploring the circumstances that gave an idea life: what happened, what someone noticed, and why it mattered. Within SynrGN, this surrounding field of pressure, void, and change holds both uncertainty and opportunity.

The aspiration is to help people preserve an idea’s meaning while expanding what it can become. A founder, team member, or partner can enter at a different stage and still understand the core they are helping grow.
That is how earlier work on value creation has developed into SynrGN—a framework for cultivating alignment, momentum, and purposeful growth.
